The safety of Vitamin E is very high as judged by many reports on preventive and therapeutic studies.

No mutagenicity, teratogenicity or carcinogenicity was found in animal studies.

A dosage of 100 - 300 mg/day of Vitamin E may be considered to be within a completely safe range from the viewpoint of toxicology, according to double-blind controlled clinical studies in humans.

Daily safe dose ranges for Vitamin E may be summarised as below on the basis of a number of double-blind controlled clinical studies conducted worldwide.

Dose range judged to be safe: 6 to 3,000 mg.

 

B) Absolutely safe range
Dose range judged to be absolutely safe: 10 to 150 mg.
